Glass - Born Through Fire.

          Glass - Born Through Fire.

Glass begins its life as mundane elements without sheen or any particular beauty. Through fire these elements are crafted by one artisan and another until they reach my hands in the form of clear and colored glass. By my torch and hands, the glass once more endures the fire - finding its final hue and shape. Having been birthed from the fire, the beauty of glass is unique. Glass, in all its splendor, represents perfectly the process by which we have been formed. Through our fires, however big or small, we also become beautiful.

A bit about Us

Ladybug Glass Accents

If you’re looking for something beautiful, unique, and made in America you’ve come to the right place. Ladybug Glass Accents is a Chicago-based business whose focus is combining fine art with everyday life. Our pieces are delicate, light, eye-catching, and stronger than one might expect glass to be. They can dress up or down – appropriate for every occasion between grocery shopping and walking down the aisle.

Each piece is the culmination of glass, fire, and expression. Moments of beauty and wonder find lasting life, encased in glass.

The material's potential is unleashed when bathed in the flame. The artist’s influence is infused into these materials until they have combined into a portrait of the moment.

Inspiration is taken from nature, music, politics, pop-culture, and personal experience.
